The singer Caroline Dumas, originally from Morocco, studied at the CNSMDP and obtained 3 first prizes, before being engaged as soloist at the Opéra de Paris. Among the roles that earned her fame are Micaëla in Carmen (Bizet), Marceline in Fidelio (Beethoven) and Marguerite in Faust (Gounod).
She is the only French singer to have performed the opera "Lulu" of Alban Berg, crushing role by its wide range and its exceptional length. It has also performed in many venues around the world. Now a singing teacher at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, she is regularly invited to master classes in Egypt, Morocco, China, Russia and Georgia.
