Chi kuan FANG was born in Taipei, Taiwan, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2002 from Taiwan National University. She is laureate of several piano competitions as well. In 2002, she arrived in France in 2002 to perfect her piano and accompaniment skills. She returned to Jean-Marie Cottet's class in piano and Ariane Jocob's class at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris. In 2004, she won first prize for piano, accompaniment in 2006, and a Higher Diploma in piano.
She then continues her studies of accompaniment in cycle of improvement. She regularly performs in concerts and accompanies festivals in Europe and Asia. She won the soloist competition at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris to perform Rachmaninoff's second concerto with the orchestra in 2005; she received the third prize and the special prize of the international piano competition of Mérignac in 2003 and 2005. She is invited to play concerts in Cologne in Germany and in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2008.
She performs as a soloist and as a chamber musician at festivals in Europe and Asia. In 2009, she was invited to play in the Salle Pleyel in Paris as part of "concert prelude". At the same time, she participates in opera productions: Padmavati at the Théâtre du Châtelet, and Carmen, Fortunio and Béatrice and Bénédict at the Opéra comique de Paris.
Elle est actuellement pianiste-accompagnatrice de plusieurs classes au CRR de Paris et au CRR d’Amiens.
