Isabelle Germain

CNSMD Lyon
Professor of singing at the CNSMD of Lyon, pedagogue and trainer of young opera singers she teaches the vocal technique and interpretation for more than 10 years.
A graduate of the CNR of Poitiers, Isabelle Germain continued her studies at the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versialles where she worked with V. Rozsa, M. Isepp and S.Jurinac. She then perfected with M. Lebris, M. Honig and N. Baker. His repertoire ranges from baroque music to contemporary music, both as a soloist and in ensembles.
She particularly liked the Lied and the Melody, to which she devoted recitals, as well as the Oratio and the productions in small groups for programs devoted to the Motets of Vivaldi, to the Cantatas of Bach and Telemann, to the Songs of Purcell. Very early passionate about the pedagogy of singing, she is responsible for a class for more than 10 years and also teaches at the Festi'Académies, Académie musicale de Haute Corrèze. She leads different sessions for singers in vocal technique, interpretation, as well as a lyric art workshop created to train young singers on the opera stage.
