Pascal JEMAIN followed his musical studies at the CRR of Paris: class of Marcel BARDON, then at the CNSMD of Lyon with Yvan CHIFFOLEAU, where he obtains a 1st prize of cello.

On tour with the Youth Orchestra of the European Union, he played under the direction of Carlo-Maria GUILINI, Bernard HAITINK, Mstislav ROSTROPOVITCH, then perfected with Janos STARKER, Gary HOFFMAN and the AMADEUS QUARTET.

Passionate about all forms of music, he shares his activity between: teaching (CA holder, Cello teacher at the CRR of St Etienne); improvised music (CRR of St Etienne); a duo with the guitarist Benjamin THERIOT, then a string trio; shows by performing artists in song.

His personal journey has placed this artist under the sign of encounters, and his activities continue to expand towards new musical enterprises where he always seeks to make vibrate through his cello his luminous and sensitive conception of this art.
