After a gold medal in the class of Pierre Masson, Raphaële Sémézis obtains the First Prizes of cello and chamber music (classes of Klaus Heitz and Christian Ivaldi) at the CNSM of Paris before a 3rd cycle of chamber music.
She completed her training with Rostropovitch, Janos Starker, Luis Claret, György Sebök, Arto Noras and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
Raphaële Sémézis holds the State Diploma and the Certificate of Aptitude. She was assistant to Pierre Masson, then taught 17 years at the Conservatoire d'Orléans, before being appointed to the Conservatoire de Versailles.
After teaching at the Académie Internationale de Saint-Jean-de-Luz, she supervised the Rencontres d'ensembles de Violoncelles de Vannes.
She is co-author for the city of music of the book «Duets with rubbed strings».
For 10 years, his career has been linked to the activities of the Pantoum Trio, winner of several international competitions (Brahms in Austria, Trapani in Italy, etc.) and the BNP-Paribas Foundation, regularly invited in various festivals in France and Asia, Europe, North Africa.
