Stéphane Trébuchet studied music at the Bordeaux Conservatory. Medalist in piano, music theory, deciphering, chamber music, he won the First Prize of the city of Paris unanimously as well as the State Diploma. He follows the masterclasses of the Franz-Schubert-Institut in Vienna (Austria) and the Schubert Stichting in Amsterdam with prestigious choir directors (Julius Drake, Rudolf Jansen, Wolfram Rieger, ...).
He has collaborated as a vocal director with the Royaumont Foundation, the Orchester de Picardie, the conductors Pascal Verrot and Jean Christophe Keck, the Conservatoire de Bordeaux (accompaniment of singing classes). He has accompanied masterclasses directed by Margreet Honig, Valérie Guillorit, Michel Sénéchal, Irene Kudela, Claudia Visca. He has been a pianist for the international lyric competitions of the Opéra National de Bordeaux / Musique au cœur du Médoc, Marmande, Robert Massard. Recently, he accompanies the Louis Rosoor international cello competition, the Cap Ferret music open, participates in the Eufonia festival, Cap Ferret Music Festival and the program of the Cathedra association.
Since 2015, the Opéra National de Bordeaux has regularly called upon him. Singing conductor for the stage (Norma de Bellini, musical direction: John Fiore), he acts as singing conductor for the choir (Semiramide by Rossini, musical direction: Paolo Olmi; Gloria de Poulenc, musical direction: Marc Minkowski). He is Assistant to the conductor of the Opéra de Bordeaux, Maestro Salvatore Caputo during the 2016-2017 season. He accompanies the opera choir in recital at the Grand-Théâtre (Liebeslieder by Brahms) or in the auditorium (Lieder and choirs from the German repertoire, Stabat Mater by Rossini 4 hands version). He also works at the Opéra de Limoges as a choir pianist and assistant to the choir director in a co-production with the Opéra-comique.
