After studying music at the Conservatory of Rennes in class Lepeu Guy, Véronique Marin between first appointed to the Paris Conservatoire in the class of Philippe Muller and was awarded three years later the first prize for cello and chamber music (class Bruno Pasquier).
After a special Popper International Cello Competition "Pablo Casals" in Budapest in 1985, under the strongest recommendations of Paul Tortelier, it enters advanced course at the Paris Conservatoire in the class of Jean-Claude and Pierre Bernède Penassou with the string quartet "Albert Roussel" all that stands in the international competition of string quartets Evian winning a medal unanimously. In 1986, during the festival "Orlando" in Holland, the quartet participates in master classes with Walter Levin (LaSalle Quartet), Sandor Devich (Devich quartet) and recorded for the Dutch radio the 1st and 4th quartets of Bartok. The ensemble in several countries - Austria, Italy, Holland ... - and France, Salle Gaveau, comedy des Champs-Élysées, Gargilesse Festival, IRCAM, Centre Pompidou.
Following his meeting in 1987 with violinist Pierre-Olivier Queyras, it finds its true fulfillment in founding the Iscles Trio in 1988, now renamed Dumky TRIO French group with the most winning six national and international awards. She participates together with the many festivals in France and abroad, often aired on (France-Musiques, National Radio Czech RAÏ Italian ...) and several recordings acclaimed by the press devoted to Brahms and Schumann, Canadian contemporary composers, a full Trios Martinu ... The last CD, a full trios by Dvorak, just published in January 2006 and get 5 forks.
Contemporary music is also featured in the musical activity of Véronique Marin. From 1990 to 2002 she was a member of the soloist ensemble FA (direction Dominique My), a regular guest at festivals such as Musica (Strasbourg), Ultima Oslo, the Venice Biennale, Ars Musica in Brussels, Geneva Archipelagos, "Presence" Radio-France and Paris Autumn Festival. The ensemble has recorded works by Philippe Fenelon (82057 THC), a monograph of Tristan Murail (Grand Prix Charles Cros; agreement 200842), Jean-Marc Singier (Diapason d'or; agreement 202762), Gérard Pesson (Agreement 204682 ), Hugues Dufourt Agreement (205,442), Franco Donatoni (10 Directory; agreement 206232) whose "stream on the stairs" for cello solo and ensemble. Working with these composers has created several duets for violin and cello, among other things: "Fragment 1" Philippe Fenelon, "rustling divided" Gerard Pesson "Altitudes" by Dominique Troncin and the French premiere of "Convulsive Beauty "for cello solo and ensemble Eric Tanguy. She is also regularly invited to perform with the ensemble Intercontemporain under the direction of Pierre Boulez, David Robertson and Jonathan Nott ...
