Of Taiwanese origin, Yun-Yang Lee comes to study at the CNSM of Paris in the class of Theodor Paraschivesco and Laurent Cabasso. He obtained there the Diploma of Superior Training in piano and chamber music with honors, before integrating the cycle of improvement in piano and chamber music.

He is the winner of the 2nd Prize at the Concours des Nuits Pianistiques – Concours Lauréats SPEDIDAM (2009), 1st Prize at the Concours de Brest (2008), 1st Prize at the Concours FLAME (2008), Grand Prize at the Forum de Normandie (2008), 3rd Prize and Special Prize at the International Maria Canals Competition in Barcelona (2002), 1st Prize nominated at the French Music Competition at the Concert Diploma level (2001), 1st Prize and Special Prize at the International Carl Czerny Competition in Prague (1999).

He is regularly invited to perform in recital at numerous European festivals.
On March 26, 2012, Yun-Yang Lee won the final of the first edition of the Virtuoso of the Heart contest.
